Local Visitor Information Centres
Talk to a local who will tell you where to go
All Visitor Information Centres are staffed by local people you really know their town. Call or visit and find out the best attractions and things to do easily and quickly.
Most Information Centres are open from 9.00am to 5.00pm everyday of the week and all are closed on Christmas Day. Several are open at different times and days which are indicated in the list below.
There are many historic towns and regional cities to visit in the Daylesford and Hepburn Springs area, they are all different and have their own character with many unique attractions and things to do and see.
There are many smaller towns like Newstead, Talbot, Smeaton, Macedon, Malmsbury that don’t have official ‘Visitor Information Centres’. So for tourism information ask at the General Store, a cafe, the local Hotel or service station, they may be able to help you or they will direct you to the right place.
